The northern coast of Gower is often overlooked but has a charm and beauty of its own. A great spot to watch the sun setting over the Burry Estuary is from the seafront layby in Penclawdd - although there is room for perhaps only three cars, on many evenings you will find no company as you watch the glowing ember's of the day's light dwindle before your very eyes:
