The supermarket chain of shops known as CK's (named after Christopher Kiley who founded the store in 1988) seems to be going from strength to strength - especially in Penclawdd.
The first CK's opened in Penclawdd in 1994 on smaller premises but a few years ago expanded with the building of a purpose built supermarket on the site of the 1970's petrol station (which closed many moons ago).
