Worm's Head Cave

Worm's HeadWorm's Head Cave can clearly be seen in these two shot's of Worm's Head. The discovery of bones belonging to both a wolf and a bear in the cave evidence how both the geography and wildlife of the Gower Peninsula has changed over time. Not only did animals such as these once wander around Rhossili, they also had far easier access to Worm's Head Cave, with today is a very trick and dangerous place to reach. Although the entrance now lies four and a half metres above the high water mark, a beach once fronted the opening of the cave. In these times of scientific debate on anthropological global warning, Worm's Head Cave is a salient reminder of just how much our world changes under its own volition.
